We had a huge private room with two full size beds and plenty of space left over. The hostel was really clean, easy to get around from, and had an industrial chic look. Restaurants, bars, izakayas, and convenience stores are close by. Laundry is in house, and detergent is free. Parking was easy for us since we got lucky and found a free spot around the corner. Otherwise there’s a 500 yen carpark a block away. Meiko-San, I think that was her name, was wonderful at reception and very helpful. We had a good chat, she introduced us to kumquats, recommended an izakaya for dinner, and even walked us there. We’d happily come back.

The shared spaces were great, and there was plenty of room around the hostel. Yu, the manager, was wonderful to meet and talk with. She helped us a lot and even drove us to the next town to save time.

There’s a nice lounge, a kitchen you can use, and the rooms are large.

I came on a friend’s recommendation, and the place was comfortable, with a really warm welcome. The room and separate toilet and bathroom were simple but extremely clean. I loved the rough, concrete-like interior, which felt like a secret hideout, and was excited as soon as I walked in. The amenities were great too, especially the nice scent of the shampoo and hand soap. There were complimentary drinks at the front desk, which I enjoyed while meeting friends and in the quiet early morning. Guest-drawn illustrations along the hallway walls made it feel playful and welcoming. I also got a free breakfast voucher for a cafe about a minute away. The calm morning there was so nice that I went two days in a row. You can hear outside noise and sounds from other rooms because of the building’s structure, but they thoughtfully provide earplugs. Anyone who needs a very quiet place should keep that in mind. For me, the staff’s warmth and the comfortable atmosphere more than made up for it.
