CoCoLo inside the station has endless restaurants, food, and souvenirs to browse, which is fun, and the hotel itself is only a short walk away. Everyone on staff was friendly, helpful, and professional, and the service was excellent. We were on the quiet corner at the end of the 10th floor, which was great. Still, the room looked worn. The wallpaper by the entrance was peeling, there were lots of scratches on the walls, and the bedside lamp flickered a bit. The bathroom floor sits one step higher than the room floor, so be careful stepping in and out. My main complaint was the water in the sink and shower. At first, turning on the tap caused a loud sputtering sound and no water came out for a good minute, so I wondered if it was broken. Later the sink or shower would sometimes sputter violently, which scared me a few times mid-shower, briefly stop, or change temperature inconsistently. Breakfast was good, with a range of tasty dishes, and the breakfast staff were polite and welcoming. It’s okay value for the price, but refurbishing the worn parts of the rooms would make the stay more comfortable.

We booked months ahead, and the only room left was a smoking room. It absolutely reeked of cigarettes, to the point that I’m not sure it was thoroughly cleaned between guests. That’s on us, since we could have chosen another hotel with non-smoking rooms, and we’ll do that next time.

We stayed four nights. The room was spacious compared with other business hotels, and the bathroom was roomy too, with all the amenities we needed. It was quiet and peaceful, so we slept soundly. I asked for a room on the highest floor, and they made that happen, which I appreciated. There’s a microwave oven, ice maker, and vending machine on the 4th floor. If I remember right, more vending machines and a washing machine are on the 3rd and 6th floors. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with lots of different foods, and the breads were especially tasty. The only thing I didn’t like was having to wait about ten minutes to start eating when there were lots of guests. I suppose you just have to be patient. I liked my stay overall.
