We booked at the last minute, but the hotel and trip information didn’t clearly say that check-in after 19:00 wasn’t possible. We tried emailing and calling several times to let them know we’d be late, but nobody answered. We had to find another hotel at the last minute and were still charged the full price as a no cancellation booking. Afterwards, they wouldn’t make any gesture on the cancellation fee either. I’m very unhappy with the service. A really bad experience.

The interior was lovely, and I enjoyed the buffet. A nice location with what you need for a relaxing stay. The only disappointment was that the reserved baths were already fully booked when we arrived.

The baths, room, and food were all good, though nothing stood out as spectacular. I got a good deal through the Taito city ward office, and it’s an easy walk from the train station. There’s self serve beer in the lounge and massage chairs downstairs that are free to use 24H. I just wish they had slippers for larger feet.

The view was breathtaking, honestly among the best I’ve seen. The fresh air and calm natural setting helped me unwind as soon as I arrived, and it felt like a proper break from daily life. Meals had plenty of variety and were delicious, with each one feeling special. The staff were kind, attentive, and ready to help. A great place to recharge and enjoy nature. Highly recommended if you’re after comfort and peace.

The rooms are a bit old, but they’re well maintained. Dinner at the buffet was mostly great, though you have to wear a mask and gloves when getting food. There wasn’t any wifi. You may need some Japanese too, since most signs were in Japanese. A good place overall.
