Ken, the host, really made our stay. He helped us get groceries, drove us to parks, and was great with the kids. Our family could cook together in the kitchen, and the inn also has games, karaoke, and an onsen. The kids loved sleeping on futons and the Japanese look of the place. It’s a great inn for a more authentic Japanese stay. Highly recommend.

We had a peaceful night and enjoyed the outdoor bath. The owner has a little shop with snacks and drinks you can buy late at night. He picked us up and also offered to take us grocery shopping. The two rooms suit a small group perfectly, and having access to a full restaurant kitchen made meal prep easy. It was a wonderful place to stay during our night in Nikko. We’ll definitely come again.

They even took care of washing our dishes. We were noisy late into the night, but nobody complained. The service was great.

I’ve stayed here three times now, and it’s been a wonderful inn each visit. They were thoughtful and helpful even before we arrived, which I really appreciated. There’s a BBQ, a tent sauna, and an open-air bath, so it works especially well for a big group of friends or family.
