The location is more convenient than I expected. It's a five-minute drive to the Niseko Village gondola, with a bus stop a four-minute walk away. There are good restaurants at the dairy farm and a coffee bar seven minutes away on foot. It's far enough from Hirafu Village that you avoid the peak-season chaos. The chalet is gorgeous and has modern amenities, but the pretty design isn't very practical. Inside it's quite dark. The water pressure works, though it wasn't strong enough for us, and the temperature was really finicky. We had to run the shower for three to five minutes before getting in so we wouldn't get frozen or scalded in quick succession. I won't be coming back.
