The location is convenient, just a five-minute drive from Annupuri ski resort. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and Miele appliances. We stayed four nights and had no cleaning service at all. At US$2,000 for the stay, that’s ridiculous. If you plan to cook, expect quite a bit of cleaning, and know that the nearest supermarket is at least a 30-plus-minute drive away.

The staff were very helpful, and the keyless entry codes worked well. Our studio had a combined washer and dryer, plenty of storage and a ski locker in the basement. It also came with pots and pans, though no salt, pepper, oil or other cooking basics. The kitchenette has a stovetop, oven and fridge, but no microwave. It’s a beautiful, modern, spacious studio with radiant floor heat. We could see the view from the room in the photo. Annupuri ski resort is about a 16-minute walk away, and the bus stop at the Annupuri entrance is seven minutes away. Without a car, options are limited because the resort bus only runs hourly in January. There’s no food shopping close by, but there are two good restaurants, Taj Mahal and Karabina, and reservations are required.

We stayed in a lovely one-bedroom apartment that felt like home. It was very clean, and the service was superb. The lighting and furniture were top-notch, with plenty of BoConcept pieces. Nice location near the Hanazono lift for skiing. I’d definitely recommend it.

Really disappointing. I checked in expecting one large bed after choosing it when asked whether I wanted two singles or one large bed in my twin room. Instead, the staff pushed two single beds together and left a big gap between them. As a hotel manager, I know twin-room beds should be singles that zip together to make a king, then be made up with a king fitted sheet so they don’t separate while you’re sleeping. For over $700 AUD a night, I’d expect that. This has completely ruined my stay at this apartment. I expected one large king bed, and I don’t know anyone who’d pay this nightly rate to sleep in a single bed.
