Tabiyado Lassy

This cottage is extremely clean and tidy, with lovely decor and a homey feel. It's well equipped with kitchenware, a rice cooker, fridge, washing machine, barbecue area, toys, and more. Supermarkets are nearby, and it's a great place for couples or families.

Owner Mr Yamanami has a great attitude and a good eye for interior design. The view is great too, with a large grassy field.

The wood stove made our winter stay feel special. It was already lit when we arrived, so we just added the firewood we’d brought and spent a wonderfully cozy evening watching the flames. We were there with our older kids in January, and Rassy Inn had everything we needed, from kitchenware and seasonings to towels, futons, and toothbrushes. The place was spotless, and even the storage and layout felt carefully thought through. It’s peaceful, with fields and views of the Aso rim, but you’re not way out in the mountains. A farm shop, bakery, convenience store, and restaurants are nearby, and it’s easy to reach both Aso and Kumamoto city. We especially liked the farm shop and bakery. The owner’s care showed throughout, and we left wanting to leave the inn even nicer than we found it. We came in the cold season and would love to return in spring, summer, or fall.

We had a lovely time having Roku House to ourselves. It was just right for relaxing on a memorable trip, and the comfortable bed meant we slept really well. Having two sinks and two toilets was convenient, and being able to do laundry every day helped with our luggage. One small thing, a table at the back for setting down little items would be useful. I’d like to come back to Lassi and enjoy that cozy atmosphere again.
