Address Nozawa

We’d stay here again next time we visit Nozawaonsen. After skiing, it was a cozy, comfortable place to unwind, with a spacious, clean room and a private onsen. The complimentary washers and dryers were handy too. Yu road was within a reasonable walk and made it easy to get to the slopes. Thanks as well for helping us book dinner, sorting reservations ourselves would have been tough.

The kitchen had everything we needed, even three sharp knives, and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. Kaori-San was especially kind and helpful. She arranged a mushroom-picking trip with Aki-San, who grows delicious mushrooms in the woods above town. We cooked them in butter and had a feast. We loved our stay at Address Nozawa!

A short walk from the main street and not too far from either ski slope, this was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel onsen had nice facilities. Our spacious, well-decorated room felt like somewhere you could live, and they provided a substantial amount of breakfast supplies. We absolutely loved it.

Address Nozawa is right in the middle of the village, which made picking up food, supplies, and souvenirs easy. The bus terminal is close, though the walk involves a bit of uphill trudging. The hike to Hikage Gondola station took us about 10 minutes and had quite a lot of uphill too. Our room for four was spacious, with plenty of breakfast supplies, including a mountain of apples. Toilets and baths are available outside as well. The onsen runs pretty hot, so turn on the cold tap and stir it with the paddle. The receptionist was excellent and friendly, helping us with restaurant bookings and recommendations. We’ll definitely stay here again.
