For a solo traveler or a couple watching the budget, this place is ideal. My six-tatami room was among the cheapest in all of Nozawa Onsen during winter. The older man who runs it spoke limited English, but was extremely nice and helpful. The bath and toilet are shared, though I never found them busy. Everything was kept very clean, and I’d stay again. There’s a drying room downstairs for after skiing, and Ta Q Bin forms if you want to send your luggage.
The room was a great size and came with a heated table. Really good value for the price.
I found it very good value, with a reasonable price compared with other nearby places. The drying room was a big help for skiing. The owner is a kind older man, and I felt at ease there. I stayed two nights while skiing, and the location was perfect, close to both the bus stop and the ski resort. The building was clean, warm, and comfortable.
Akebi-so is the only place that comes to mind when I think of Nozawa Onsen. The inn was very clean, and the owner was kind.
My friend picked this hotel, and we had a really nice stay together. The location was great for sightseeing, and Nozawa Onsen is a great place. The hotel was clean and had a luxurious feel despite the price, and the staff service was excellent. I couldn’t think of any bad points. The staff were very conscientious (*^^*), and I’m very satisfied.
