The in-house onsen bath was a real treat after a big day on the slopes, and the heating was spot on. We stayed four nights and loved the room and location. The lifts, with some of the best snow of our lives, are an easy walk away, and all the restaurants are walkable too. There’s also an awesome waffle and coffee shop downstairs in the building. Breakfast changes between East and West from day to day, and both are fantastic, though we liked the Japanese style best. The staff and facilities were exceptional. Thank you, Utopia, for a very memorable stay. Book in for a beautiful experience!

The staff at Utopia were so lovely and looked after me after I injured my knee skiing. It’s a traditional-style hotel in Nozawa Onsen, conveniently placed between the slopes and the main town centre. The place was immaculately clean, breakfast was generous, and the drying room for ski gear was excellent. I’d highly recommend it.

We had a lovely five-day stay this December. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and incredibly clean, and our hosts were wonderful. It’s perfectly located between the gondola base and the town’s shops, restaurants, and onsens. We’d definitely come back.

We stayed for a week last February, and it was the best time. Kaori san and the crew were such good hosts, especially Shu and his Dad Ganti, who took great care of us and kept the room clean. The place felt homey, and we had a great time in Nozawa and Utopia. Keep it up, guys! Very recommended.

The rooms were really generous in size, and the shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The hosts were very kind, and it’s an easy walk to both the gondola and restaurants. Would recommend!
