Lovely onsen and great hospitality!

The breakfast eggs were high quality and delicious, whether they were part of breakfast or a little service. I was impressed. After the sauna, it was nice to unwind with the free drinks in the lounge. The sauna itself was hot, around 85°C, and I sweated a lot. There are two open-air baths, and the shower was easy to use, just twist the button and water keeps flowing. I wish there were more chairs outside so it was easier to relax in the open-air bathing area. There’s no cold bath, unfortunately, so you can’t do the usual sauna, cold bath, then open-air bath routine.

The spring water felt wonderful, and dinner and breakfast were both delicious. I booked the compact room plan, but the room still felt pretty spacious. I appreciated the bath amenities, including a rinse-off face mask, body cream, and lotion. I’d asked ChatGPT about baths near Tambara Ski Resort, and this inn came up as one suggestion. I didn’t look into much besides the location, but it turned out to be a very good place. They apologized at dinner because the children's meals took longer to prepare than the adults', though the delay wasn’t significant. I appreciated the thought.
