We had the whole house to ourselves, all three of us. It’s a lovely, authentic place with a kitchen, and the futons were really comfortable. The owner helped us with all our questions and suggested a great way to get to and enjoy the Ose Matsuri we were attending. The house doesn’t insulate very well, but it has two A/Cs and several heaters. And on the second morning, Fuji was clear and beautiful from the entrance!

The house was charming and clean, and we loved being so close to the sea. It’s a lovely, authentic place if you want easy access to nature. I spent a night here with my family and really appreciated the hospitality. We’d like to come again.

I found a Max Value supermarket about a 12-minute drive away, picked up ingredients, and made dinner. The room had air conditioning and a stove, so I stayed warm even in February. The windows rattled a bit when the wind picked up at night, but it barely bothered me. On the last day of my travels, I stayed at NORA, worn out from the long trip, and was so glad to find such a relaxing place. The building is old, but the bathroom and other areas have been properly renovated and were clean. The owner and the atmosphere were both warm and kind, and I could really rest my mind and body. I’ll come again.

I’ve loved this place since it was a cafe. It’s in a quiet spot, and from the nearby seaside you can look across the water and see magnificent Mount Fuji.

They kindly showed us around, which I appreciated since I was with my child. Having the whole old house to ourselves meant we could relax without worrying about anything.
