Heda itself has a really peaceful feel. From the room, the view was great, and parking was free. There's a shared refrigerator, too. The place is right by Heda port, the Heda port bus stop, and the 7/11, which is the only convenience store in Heda. The walls aren't well insulated, so sounds and movement from the neighbors carry through. I spotted mosquitoes in the hallway and had to watch out when going in and out of the room. Check-in is at 16:00, and the doors opened right at that time. I wanted to ask about parking, but they wouldn't take calls before check-in. The toilet and shower are shared. Since it's in front of Heda port, ships come in around 11:00pm.

A lovely place to pause and reset before going on to Tokyo. We rode bikes around the village, visited the salt makers, stopped at the cafe, and went to the fish co-op.

The service here was impeccable, and both the facilities and the views from the rooms and cafe were amazing. The food and coffee were incredible, and the town is charming with lots to see. Definitely don't skip it if you're planning a trip to Japan. We usually choose mid to high-end hotels and don't stay in places with shared bathrooms, but our time at Tagore was better than at most of those hotels.

We stopped here for one night in a sleepy but excellent town. The place is stylish and has a great view over the waterfront. Most of the staff were friendly, though there's room for improvement.

It's a nice hostel right on the water, and every room has a stunning view. They rent bikes, which was really useful for getting around the small town. Breakfast and coffee are available in the morning for 900¥, though breakfast is pretty simple. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything inside and outside.
