A good stay if you want to experience living like a local.

The room was in a slightly renovated, old traditional Japanese house, which gave us the feel of staying in an old-fashioned home. We especially enjoyed the cozy kotatsu. We were four family members staying on a weekday. We booked through A&B for 38,000 yen with smart check-in and no meals. The spot is right next to Nishiizu Toda Port, which is great. There isn't shopping nearby, though there is a 7-Eleven within walking distance.

I've come to love Numazu and would be happy to stay here again. We had a lovely memory of the place, especially the delicious drinks at the nearby cafe. They gave us complimentary public bath tickets and drink vouchers for that cafe. My family and I stayed last April ^_^. A family tragedy happened soon afterward, and I was too busy to write this review until now (^^;;). The place is just so stylish. The interior and little items were lovely, almost like a shop, and the kids were thrilled by the sunken kotatsu table. We also got to use the kitchen and had fun cooking together.
