Good.
My company booked this for a work trip. I'd known the rates were low, and they're still what they were before COVID-19. It's a great hotel, though some nearby business hotels have hot springs and this one doesn't. They did leave bath salts in the room. I asked the front desk for green tea, and they gave me some in a paper cup with tea leaves, which I appreciated. It's about a five-minute walk from the station and three minutes from the bus terminal.
The staff are friendly, and the bath is huge. This business hotel has a Showa-era feel. The signs of age might be hard for some people to put up with, but I like the place overall. The one drawback I'd mention is that the laundry closes at 9:30 pm.
The place smelled bad and felt dirty. Its atmosphere, furnishings, and the front desk staff's attitude all seemed stuck in the Showa era. Maybe retro fans would be okay with it, but the price feels unbelievable these days. The bathroom tiles were peeling, there was obvious mold, and nothing felt clean. I won't stay there again. I also don't understand why, as others have mentioned, you have to leave your car keys at the front desk.
