The bathroom was very basic, without much technology, and my non-smoking room still had a strong tobacco smell. It’s an average hotel, fine for sleeping one night on a business trip.

It’s an affordable hotel in the city center. The facilities are old, the WiFi barely works, and breakfast is served individually, which is unusual.

The bed frame was dusty when I wiped it with a tissue, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, and a piece of the security hardware had come off and was missing. It needs fixing. The room felt hot and humid as soon as I walked in, with a moldy smell. The smell was awful, though after about an hour I seemed to get used to it. The futon was damp too. I guess that’s what happens when it’s cheap, and it was the only place available. I missed my usual hotel next door. I really hated being in that space.

The place is a little dated, but it’s hard to find a hotel for just 5,000 yen these days. There was a faint moldy smell, though it didn’t bother me for a one-night stay. That’s just my personal take.
