We’ve visited twice now and will definitely return. This ryokan was a great base for exploring Kyushu, and the staff were eager to make sure we were comfortable. The food was delicious, mostly fish. The area is known for koi sashimi.

The hot spring was so relaxing, and the room was super. The food at the restaurant was great too. The staff were friendly, the friendliest I’ve met in all my travels. I wish I could have stayed longer. This is my all-time favorite place in the world.
The owner and staff make a visit memorable, with great service and delicious food. There’s also a natural onsen hot spring. If you’re after a true Ryokan experience, this is the place.
Pretty good.
The staff are friendly, and I feel relaxed here. Breakfast is the reason I make sure to eat in the morning even though I usually skip it: the miso soup is delicious. This is a really nice inn.
