Hourei-No-Yado

We still managed to visit for a day-use bath on Tuesday, and the onsen and Jigoku‑mushi were both wonderful. I’d been looking forward to the milky white water and cooking experience for more than a year, hoping a stay here would be a highlight of our Kyushu trip. I’d love to come back someday and enjoy both at a slower pace. The booking window only opens three months ahead, so we’d already arranged our flights and other stays before it was time to reserve. That’s when I learned the accommodation closes every Tuesday and Wednesday. Our planned night was a Tuesday, and with everything else confirmed, changing our itinerary wasn’t really possible. I was heartbroken to give up the stay. I should have checked more carefully, since I hadn’t expected a place to close two days every week. It would help if the closure days were shown more clearly on the website, perhaps on the front page.
