The food and hot springs were good, and the staff were really kind. They couldn't speak English, but we managed fine with body language.

Really good hot spring and tasty food, with lovely hospitality too.
My wife and I had a very relaxing stay at this wonderful Ryokan tucked away in the mountains. The staff were kind and accommodating, and the onsen was excellent. There’s no meal service, but you can cook food at the steaming station using the onsen’s heat. Such an amazing experience!
All eight hot springs can be booked for private use, and the mineral-rich water was amazing. I’d never seen so many hot spring minerals blooming in the water before. We picked up our favorite ingredients at a supermarket and steamed them in the hot spring. They came out delicious, and plates and condiments were provided, so you just need to bring the food. I’d like to come back. I was a little unsure about choosing a bed-and-breakfast for a holiday stay, but it turned out better than I expected. This is a quiet, secluded hot spring inn, and the room was incredibly comfortable. The free hot spring steaming was a highlight.
The room and hot springs were all spotless, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. There were little thoughtful touches everywhere: free tea and coffee, lots of shampoo choices in the indoor baths, and a mini shop. The landlady was lovely and even cut up ingredients for us and set out condiments. We checked in at 4pm. Before showing us to the room, she explained how to use the eight hot springs and gave us detailed instructions. I’d definitely like to stay here again.
