The hotel arranged an early breakfast and hot spring and spa access for guests running 42.195 km in the Shonan Marathon. That was much appreciated. The marathon went really well, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful.

The best reason to stay at Oiso Prince Hotel is its location beside Oiso Long Beach, with a small but decent locker room and showers for hotel guests using the beach. The rooms are pretty standard for Prince hotels, though this location has fewer and less impressive amenities than others. Wi-Fi is very spotty, there’s just one main restaurant, and the cafe closes at 5pm. There’s no lounge for Diamond level customers. It’s a decent hotel, but there isn’t much reason to choose it beyond the beach access.

The Japanese breakfast was amazing. The room was spacious and comfortable, and I really enjoyed the onsen, which is open from early morning until midnight.

The resort and spa are the main draw, even though the hotel itself is small. Beach access isn’t very good. I was surprised it’s rated only 3 stars, since our family stay felt more like a 4-star experience.

The pool was a refreshing place to cool off, and it was well maintained. Staff were friendly and ready to help with whatever was needed. It’s a comfortable, relaxing hotel, and the amenities and services made for a very enjoyable, memorable vacation.
