Hotel Tachibana

The phone service and reception were both very good, and the price was low enough to feel worthwhile. I could relax like I was at home, helped by the separate bathroom and toilet. The room was a standard business hotel size. Breakfast was light but enough for a small meal: several kinds of mini bread, salad, instant miso soup, pilaf, boiled eggs, coffee, juice, milk, flakes, and sausages.

The hotel building itself deserves four stars, but the parking lot only gets two. Having a separate bathroom and toilet was a real plus, with the toilet more like a changing room. The parking spaces are much too small, and guests should be able to choose a spot that fits their vehicle. Otherwise, you can be left unable to park even when there are empty spaces.

The staff were very polite, and the hotel is a good distance from Korakuen. I especially liked having the bathroom separate from the toilet, unlike at a typical business hotel.

The staff were really friendly. I only had breakfast, though, and the morning coffee was just okay. It was limited to a small piece of bread, a boiled egg, and some sausages. I'd generally recommend somewhere like AZ Hotel.
