The hotel is right in the city center, and while I tried two rooms and found them clean, they were sometimes outdated. The bigger issue is that there’s no staff until 3 pm, so you can’t leave your bags in storage on the day of your flight. I also wanted to stay two nights, spend a night elsewhere to see another part of the island, then leave my luggage there. With no reception before 3 pm, I had to book an extra night instead. This seems common in Japan, and I couldn’t find a better place, but I’m sharing this for international travelers who may be used to a much higher level of hosting.

No bathtub, but the bathroom is a good size. There’s a roomy fridge, though they don’t even have a microwave.
