Kurobe view hotel

The receptionist's warm, gentle smile throughout our stay is what I'll remember most. Their hospitality really made our day, and we'd love to visit again. The facilities felt quite new, the rooms were spacious, and both meals were simple but authentic Japanese food. The hot spring was clean and well maintained, with a stunning view of the snow.

We came by car as a family of five, two adults and three kids, and had a fantastic stay. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the hot spring wasn't crowded. The water was excellent, and the bath products were great. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. There's plenty of parking. If it's full, the front desk will kindly keep your keys and move the car if needed. Their English is limited, but they're helpful and communicate well with a translator. We arrived at 7 AM, too early to check in, and they proactively offered us a place to change. We'll definitely come back!

We stayed here before taking the Tateyama Kurobe Alphine Route, and it worked well. The hotel has good room design, friendly staff, and a good onsen. Ogizawa Station is nearby, about a 15-minute drive away.

The views across the fields give the place a genuinely rural feel. Our family room had a huge tatami area with plenty of room for four adults, plus two toilets and a full bathroom. Dinner was worth every yen: a very complete menu with lots of variety and an authentic Japanese food experience. The breakfast buffet covered Japanese, Chinese, and Western options.
