The walk to Shin Osaka Station was short, which worked perfectly for our day trips to Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto. The rooms were big and clean, with spacious bathrooms and plenty of room to spread out luggage. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were umbrellas to borrow at the front door, free soba in the first-floor restaurant after 9pm, and coin laundry inside the Onsen.

The hotel’s near Shin-Osaka station but sits on a quiet side street. We arrived to refreshing soba noodles, then had a late-night visit to the modern, calming onsen. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of good Japanese-style options, plus some dishes for people who prefer a Western-style breakfast. I’m glad we got to stay here.

There’s a paid parking lot for JPY2000 a day, which is useful if you’re on a road trip. The hotel also serves complimentary soba in its restaurant from 21:00-23:00. My room was clean and had the basics, but that was about it. It’s a little way from the city centre, and the rooms are so small that there’s barely space for two travelers to open their suitcases.

The public bath and complimentary late-night soba were lovely touches, and getting there with luggage was easy since the hotel is close to Shih-Osaka station. Shops and restaurants nearby made daily errands simple too. My room was spotless, including the bed and bathroom, and the staff were warm, polite, and helpful throughout my stay. I’m visiting from Taiwan and had a very pleasant time here. I’d happily come back and would recommend it to other travelers.
