I didn't end up staying, but their decency deserves a high rating. I'd booked a non-refundable room through booking.com and asked to cancel for free on the morning of my stay because bad weather made me change my plans. They agreed quickly. I imagine an empty room in Omachi is unlikely to get booked again at the last minute, so they were basically giving up that money. Hats off to them. If I'm in Omachi again, I'll definitely stay.

We were only here for one night, but it was one of the most comfortable places we booked in Japan. Thanks for being so welcoming, we'll recommend it to everyone. It's very close, about a 3-minute walk, to the bus and railway stations.

A really cute place for a one-night stop, very close to the station. They give you a map when you arrive to help find somewhere for dinner, and everyone was friendly. The baths were clean. One thing to know, breakfast choices in Shinano Omachi are limited. If you're heading out early, you might want to get breakfast at the hotel or go to 7/11.

There's a lovely rooftop garden with mountain views. My room was quiet and clean, and the free wifi worked throughout the building and was pretty quick. The staff were helpful, even though they spoke limited English. Google Translate is always there, anyway. The hotel is very close to Shinano Omachi station.
