The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was spacious and well equipped, and the rooms are really big by Japan standards. We also loved the in-room projector and unlimited soft serve. It’s a small boutique hotel, exceptionally clean and convenient, with very helpful staff. Just be aware it’s stairs only. I’d definitely recommend it.

Friendly staff, and I recommend the place. The room and bathroom were great, and the room was spacious with modern features, including a projector screen with various streaming apps. There’s free ice cream whenever you want, and a small machine where you can get a free gift. We picked up a box of ramen and some salt. Breakfast is included, but they give you a 30-minute time slot, which can feel rushed and a little stressful at the start of the day.

I’d accidentally booked the four-person room, so it was super spacious for the two of us. The cafe has free-flow soft serve until 4 pm, and you can get free souvenirs too. The parking lot is a few blocks from the hotel, so I’d drop off the luggage first. Also, the shopping street closes every day from 11 am to 8 pm.

The staff were super helpful and accommodating, and the place exceeded my expectations. Our room was spacious, had a private bathroom, and worked really well for friends catching up. We picked out nice souvenirs and ate plenty of the all-you-can-eat soft serve. They stored our bikes and pointed us to the nearest luggage forwarding shop. If we come back to Onomichi, we’ll definitely stay here again.
