The views from the room were great, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Service was very friendly, and breakfast is available for an extra fee. It’s a little off the main road, but easy enough to find. We felt fine leaving our bicycles outside the room. The area is very safe.

After cycling the Shimanami Kaido from Imabari to Onomichi, this was a peaceful place to unwind. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and super clean, with a balcony, bathtub, and lovely port view. Sunset from here was beautiful. Seaside Hostel Lighthouse is a family-run place, and the couple who own it were so kind. When there were no taxis available, they even drove us to Shin-Onomichi. That hospitality made our stay special. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a warm, welcoming place in Onomichi.

Our twin room was clean and really nice, with complimentary water. The owners were incredibly kind. When we mentioned in passing that we were sick, they brought us medicine and drinks. A great room and lovely people running the place.

My boyfriend and I stayed five nights to explore the islands. Having a bike or car to get around is something I’d definitely recommend. The room was clean, and Kaito and his wife were so friendly. Thanks for making the stay enjoyable. Great hostel!

It’s in a remote area, but the couple running this really nice hostel were so kind and helpful that it more than made up for the location.
