We had the second and third floors for our group of eight, and it felt like staying in a stylish friend’s home. The rooms have a cool California look, with lots of attention to detail from the owner. It’s a great base for exploring Onomichi. The sea and Onomichi Channel are just across the road, while the main shopping street, restaurants, and bars are about a ten-minute walk away. You can also go up to the nearby city hall rooftop, where the sea view is fantastic.

There’s loads of space here. Even with 10 people staying, it still feels roomy, and we had a lot of fun.

The location worked well, and the staff were really friendly. We could use the parking lot on the first floor for free.
