It felt much more polished than a guesthouse, with well-equipped facilities and stylish jazz playing. The food was top-notch too. The owner was so friendly and taught me a lot about fishing. I'll definitely come back. Thank you very much, owner.

I came back after more than 20 years, remembering the kind hospitality and delicious crab from my dive trip here. This time I ordered crab again, and the sashimi and breakfast were delicious too.

The food was great, and I thought the price was lower than at other inns and hotels. We had our meals in a private room on the first floor, where they brought us a drink menu. The tender teppanyaki meat made us laugh, and I loved the texture of the mozuku seaweed and the tasty broth from the boiled fish. The shrimp sashimi was plump and carefully prepared. There were lots of kinds of tempura, including crab, which surprised me by being so good. The rice was just right, neither too hard nor too soft. The bath was spacious and relaxing, and the owner was very kind. We had a great time and I'd like to come again. Thank you very much. The place has the feel of a traditional inn, with a slight slope up from the parking lot. They explain meal and bath times when you check in. Stairs lead to the rooms, which may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. It's a Japanese-style room. Although the information says there's no bath or toilet, ours had one attached. Since it's basically family-run, guests need to move the futons and desks themselves. The island is surrounded by nature, so you'll come across small insects if bugs bother you.

My old navigation system didn't know about the opening of the “Shin-Oshima Tunnel,” so I took a long detour getting there. On the way back, going through the tunnel brought us straight to the Aoto Bridge. This was my first stay, and we chose the “Magnificent Boat Platter Plan.” My husband and I enjoyed everything, from the tempura and vinegared dishes to breakfast, and ate until we were completely full. The owner clearly knows seafood and puts real care into every dish. The grilled Wakasa sea bream was juicy and plump, cooked just right with the perfect amount of salt. The boiled Wakasa flounder was seasoned to let the fish's own flavor come through. The boat platter was delicious too, with different flavors like sansho pepper and sesame alongside the sashimi, so we enjoyed it right to the end. I was impressed by how much care went into the food. I'll definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful time!
