The staff were friendly, quick to help, and the location made it easy to get to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The apartment-style room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent facilities for a longer stay. It felt more like home than a hotel. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel 11 Amemura and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka who wants that apartment-style convenience.

Hotel 11 Amemura was in a great spot, close to everything in Osaka, and the staff were excellent. Our apartment-style room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Had a great stay and would recommend it.

The apartment is roomy and in a great location, close to a convenience store and not far from the main district. I’d probably recommend this apartment hotel, but I’d look at other options first. I contacted the host several times to ask where to find the WiFi password and never got a reply. I also came across lots of cockroaches in the apartment. Now I’m worried they might hide in my luggage and come home with me to Australia 😬

The location was handy, with a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven downstairs and several attractions within walking distance. Self check-in went smoothly, and the stay was decent overall. Cleanliness needs serious improvement. There was noticeable dust on the carpet, bed, and pillows, and it left me itchy and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with sensitive skin or allergies.

For the price and location, I thought this place deserved five stars. We’ve been to Osaka three times, and we’d definitely stay here again. The owner was kind, patient with my many questions, quick to reply, and clear. I changed our hotel at the last minute before arriving in Japan, and I’m glad I did. I’d had trouble completing the booking, and the owner helped me through it. Getting in was a little different: check-in is at 4PM, and you press a lobby code to enter, then use the code in a black box beside your room to get the key. We arrived early and left our luggage in the lobby, as the owner said we could. It didn’t seem secure at first, but lots of other guests were doing the same, so we did too. After checkout, which was earlier than our flight, we left our bags there again and came back for them later. The owner said the lobby code wouldn’t change, which made that convenient. The location was great. It’s about a three-minute walk to the Dotonbori river and five to seven minutes to the Glico sign. FamilyMart is right across from the hotel, and 7-Eleven is a block away. I’d go down in pajamas and a jacket for hot coffee and a pastry for a quick, lazy breakfast. The elevator was plenty big for four people with four large suitcases, despite reviews calling it small. The room was very clean. I’d seen comments about marks on the walls or carpet, but I barely noticed anything, and it didn’t bother me. It’s a straightforward, comfortable space with hotel slippers. I liked that the Japanese toilet is separate from the shower and washroom. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste; there was also a hairdryer, extra tissues, and extra rubbish bags. The kitchen had a fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, utensils, sink, and stove. There was no drinking water, tea, or coffee, but we didn’t mind. The two double beds and pillows were adequate, though I wish the comforters were a little wider for two people unless you’re cuddling. The TV didn’t have English settings. Netflix was available if you log in, and there was YouTube. There’s no room cleaning or towel change, which was fine, and we got four bath towels and four hand towels despite paying for only three people. Checkout is at 10AM. When I asked, they gave us a free extension until 11AM; checkout after 12NN costs another night. We wanted to stay later that day, but they were fully booked for the weekend, which I understood.
