I couldn't sleep because the hallway music was so loud. I called the front desk to ask them to turn it down, but they said they couldn't do anything because the manager wasn't there. They claimed nobody had complained about it before, but a part-timer couldn't really know that, could they? A karaoke place would probably be quieter and cheaper.
