b&Tsutenkaku

I found the location especially convenient: Ebisuchō Station is a short walk away, Tsutenkaku Tower is nearby, and the station makes it easy to reach other train lines and tourist spots. The basic kitchen had enough utensils for simple meals, and having a bathtub was nice after long walks. The tatami floor and futon setup added a traditional touch. The futon was thinner and less cushioned than a regular bed, though I found it manageable for a few nights and not as bad as some online comments suggested. Cleanliness was my biggest issue. Dust had collected in the corners and along the baseboards, making the room feel a little neglected. It wasn't bad enough to make me leave, but it was below what I'd expect from a rental. The layout was awkward too: the only air conditioner was in the bedroom, so with the sliding door closed, the common area got uncomfortably warm. We had to leave the door partly open for air to circulate. I was also assigned a ground-floor unit, and the untinted bedroom window faced outside. People could see in, especially at night, so I felt uncomfortable and kept the curtains closed. If you want a budget stay with some cultural features and can accept those drawbacks, it could work. Personally, I'd recommend apartment hotel H11 near Tsutenkaku tower, where I had a much better experience.
