The area is quiet but still handy for getting around, with Namba Station just two stops away. My stay went smoothly thanks to professional, polite staff. The room was very clean, up to the high standard I associate with Japan, and the price felt like good value. A solid choice for exploring the city.

Getting around was easy, with several metro lines a 5-10 minute walk away, and the price was excellent value. I also never felt unsafe. There can be people yelling outside, and by Japanese standards there are quite a few homeless people, but I found the reports exaggerated. The area was still secure and very clean, with no litter, and felt comparable to some of the safest parts of major North American cities. Inside, the hotel and shared spaces were always clean, with someone seemingly always cleaning. The shared bathrooms were spotless too. The showers are on the first floor, which is a little awkward, but once inside they’re comfortable and very private. Rooms have a fridge, TV, and enough storage, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds are a bit hard, though not the worst I’ve had in Japan.

Getting to restaurants and several train stations on foot was easy. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean and a decent size. The amenities were cleaned regularly, and the self check-in and check-out instructions were very easy to follow.

Private rooms at a very budget-friendly price, close to subway lines. If you're trying to keep costs down and stay in Osaka for longer, I’d recommend it. It also works well for the last few days in Japan, since trains to Kansai airport are accessible and there’s a Donki store nearby for last-minute shopping.
