The landlord was very nice, and there’s plenty of shopping, with five routes to choose from. The locations are quite far apart, though, and the surroundings have both good and bad sides. The concerns are the ones you may have heard about. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it for women travelling alone. It seems better suited to groups. Men might feel differently, but even they may not want to go into the alleys. The stairs are steep too, so families with children or elderly travellers should think carefully before choosing it.
