The room looked out over the train platform, and watching people move through there was surprisingly calming. The mattress was okay, but the single pillow provided was hard and lumpy, so I didn’t find it comfortable. Transport was very convenient: the hotel is diagonally across from the Osaka Metro (Midosuji Line) and Nankai Electric Railway, which has a direct train to KIX Airport. The first entrance has an elevator, which helped with luggage. The second entrance beside it, at JR Shin-Imamiya Station, has a long staircase and no elevator. Breakfast choices were limited, though what was available tasted quite good. The front desk staff were friendly and could manage simple English. They even helped change my restaurant reservation when the language barrier got in the way. That was truly 5-star service!

They let me check in early since rooms were available that day. It’s good value for money, with shin immamiya station just a stone’s throw away. The first room hadn’t been cleaned well. I told reception, and they quickly moved me to another room that was much better.

The room for three was bigger than a typical japanese hotel room, and breakfast was good. They also provide earplugs for the train noise.

The nearby transit is really convenient, with stations for several lines, including Sakaisuji and Nankai, close by. There’s a FamilyMart just across the street, too. I had no complaints about the hotel at all!

There are several halal restaurants nearby, and the location is handy for other basics too: a convenience store across the street and a 24-hour supermarket close by. Shin Imamiya Station is near the hotel. My room was clean and compact, but larger than I expected given what people say about small hotel rooms in Japan. Amenities were available, with a microwave on the second floor and a washing machine on the first.
