The staff weren't helpful, and the reception didn't pass information on to the other staff, so I had to explain the same issue every day of my stay. Most of them couldn't speak English, except for one person. Even with Google Translate set to Japanese, we still couldn't communicate clearly.

I found the manager confrontational and unprofessional. He spoke to me aggressively, asked what I thought were stupid questions about my reservation, and came across as idiotic. His behavior was an absolute disgrace to Japan. Avoid this hotel.

The twin rooms are huge for a budget hotel in Japan, so they feel like very good value. There are only four parking spaces, and you need to call ahead to reserve one. You can hear trains from the room.

The room is small, and my booking didn't include a bathroom or toilet. The shared shower and toilet facilities are clean and easy to figure out, though, so don't worry too much about that. The subway station is right next door, which is convenient, but you should expect some train noise. A decent spot if you're traveling on a budget.

It's old and basic, but it works well enough for a solo traveler. If you're okay with a capsule hotel as another option, this is worth considering. There's much more room and better ventilation than in a capsule.
