Daifuji Kan

We had an amazing stay at this BNB. It was clean and quiet, near the train station and convenience stores. There’s a kitchen with a refrigerator, too. The photo I attached was taken as we were leaving the property 🙂

The room felt roomy enough for up to four people, and it was both tidy and well equipped. The owner has provided five-star facilities. I’d happily stay here again if I return to Osaka. It’s in a peaceful spot, with Tamatsukuri Station nearby and a 24-hour 7-Eleven close to the apartment, so getting around is easy.

The apartment was affordable, clean, and had what we needed. It can fit a family of five, and the beds were soft. But for us, the rules and warnings added a lot of stress to a holiday with young children. We were told to limit water, electricity, and gas or face extra charges, without any clear idea of what counted as too much. That made us hesitant to use the air conditioner and washing machine. The air conditioner didn’t cool properly, and the washer instructions only allowed one fixed cycle, regardless of how dirty the clothes were. There were warnings everywhere: don’t move furniture or slide doors carelessly, or there could be costs; keep quiet or the neighbors might call police; sort trash into categories and don’t produce too much. The unfinished wood floor also showed every drop of water and furniture movement. I’d rather see these costs included upfront. The sofa wasn’t a sofa bed, so anyone beyond four guests would sleep on a floor mattress only an inch thick. With that mattress set up, there was no table to eat at. We weren’t allowed to move furniture, and the coffee table was in the closet, so we had to eat standing in the tiny kitchen.

There’s no reception or service, but the room itself was large, clean, and had everything we needed. It took us a little while to figure things out at first. Still, it suited my family well since we didn’t spend much time at the hotel, and we had a good stay. Thanks for everything 💟
