Daiwa Roynet Hotel Osaka Kitahama

We had a pleasant stay from March 12th to March 16th, and the staff were consistently polite, helpful, and accommodating. Our 13th-floor room fit five people and several large suitcases, with enough space to move around. The bathroom was spacious and well designed, though the toilet wasn’t separated, and there was a slight unpleasant smell when it flushed. Bathroom spray might help. Breakfast had a nice mix of Japanese and Western dishes, and we especially liked the tempura and takoyaki. In-room massages are available at an affordable price. The TV has only about 10 channels, but it gives useful updates about laundry and breakfast. There are no smart TV features such as Netflix or Amazon Video. Laundry is on the 7th floor, with only three washer-dryer combos. A wash and dry costs about 500 yen, plus 200 yen for extra drying time. Detergent is provided, but the machines smelled a bit funky. You may want paper towels to clear lint from the dryer. There’s a money exchange machine on the 3rd floor near the vending machines. Parking was convenient, but it’s cash only. There are also time limits: you have to return by 10:00 PM to keep the parking, and the earliest you can retrieve your car is 7:00 AM. Despite a few minor hassles, we had a great stay and would choose this hotel again in Osaka.

The staff, especially at reception, were so welcoming and friendly during our five-night stay. When our return flight was delayed by 14 hours, they managed to extend our stay for one more night in the same room, even with little notice. Check-in was quick and easy. We had the Junior Suite with two extra beds. It was very spacious, with two double beds, two single beds, a sitting area with chairs and a coffee table, and room for four large suitcases. The room was clean and modern, and the bathroom and shower were spacious too. The location worked well for us, with the Osaka Metro entrance just one door away. It’s a quieter part of town, so nights weren’t noisy, and there are a few cafes nearby.

The staff were efficient and polite, and our clean, well organized room had a comfortable bed, standard amenities, and enough space. The station nearby made getting around easy, and taxis were easy to find right outside. Good value for this trip 👍🏽

We’ll miss this hotel. It’s a little outside the main areas, but my family liked coming back to a quiet place at night. There are plenty of dining options nearby, along with kombini. Kitahama Metro and Yodoyabashi are just a few minutes away, so public transport is convenient. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the staff did their best to help with the limited English they spoke. It was a great experience, and the breakfast was amazing too.
