DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle

Being right by Osaka Castle made it easy to get away from the busy Namba and Shinsaibashi areas. There are still good restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and Osaka Castle Park is about a 5-10 minute walk through the Otemon Gate. From Osaka Station, take the purple Tanimachi Line to Temmabashi Station, go through the shopping mall, then come out onto Tosabori-dori Street to find the property. The room was spacious and clean. The Front Desk team hosted me wonderfully during my short stay and upgraded me to a room with an Osaka Castle view as a Gold member. I didn't get to try breakfast, but my husband said there was a wide range of choices. Thanks for welcoming me back to Osaka after 10 years. The city has changed a lot, but the warmth of Osaka's hospitality is still there.

The restaurant staff were so attentive, and Aki, one of the waitresses, greeted me in the morning and gave me some artwork to take home as a reminder of my stay. Justin on concierge and the rest of the team helped make it a wonderful visit. From arrival, the welcome was warm, and any request or question was met with a smile, plus a cookie. The hotel and staff were excellent, with customer service at a very high standard. Thank you, Aki and everyone. 👏

We spent seven nights here and enjoyed every minute, from the warm welcome and easy check-in to our last breakfast and the wishes for a safe flight. The hotel is new, clean and modern, and the staff were professional, helpful and caring. A special thank you to Aki, the Breakfast ambassador, who kindly wrote us a few very tender words in Russian. That really touched us. Sending warm regards from Moscow, and we hope to return soon. We chose Double Tree Osaka castle hotel mainly for its location and the lovely view. Having breakfast while looking out at the park and castle was amazing. The nearby rail station also made it easy to go straight to Kyoto. The trip to Fushimi-inari station on the Keihan line took about 40 minutes.

Breakfast had lots of choices, was very complete, and the quality was great. We also loved the hotel's location for visiting Osaka Castle and exploring the city. The castle view from the hotel is beautiful and made our stay feel special. The front desk team welcomed us warmly at check-in. The staff member who helped us when we arrived in the evening was extremely kind and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a good stay. His name sounded like Merlon, though I may have spelled it wrong. We're very glad we picked this hotel for our nights in Osaka and would happily stay again.
