Everything I needed was in the compact apartment, including cutlery, a water boiler, dishwasher and washing machine. My first impression was great, and I was enjoying the stay until the second night, when I found the toilet brush full of residue and old urine under the toilet seat. It was disgusting and completely changed how I felt about the place. I even began to wonder whether the towels and sheets were washed properly between guests. It may have been a cleaning staff oversight rather than a management problem, but a clean toilet is non-negotiable. I'd tell future guests to check it carefully as soon as they arrive. That one issue took away from what could have been a lovely stay.

The bathroom and washrooms were very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. These small apartments are spotless, with things feeling basically brand new, and they have pretty much everything you'd need. I found the balcony handy for drying laundry. There are coat hangers and a sock drying hanger in the closet by the main bed. I'd happily stay here again.

The room's on the third floor, and there's an elevator. The price was very cheap, and there are supermarkets close by, plus a Lawson and FamilyMart across the street. The subway station is nearby too, with an escalator at Exit 5 and an elevator at Exit 6. You can hear the station noise even with earplugs. There are three steps between the building entrance and the elevator, which gets tiring with luggage. The room door is heavy and hard to push, and you have to press the button yourself again to lock it.

The room was fairly spacious and fit two large suitcases, and it was very close to the subway. Those were the two things going for it. For a place that wasn't super cheap, the stay was disappointing, and it was the first time I'd had a bad experience in Japan. The shower drain smelled awful, like a roadside ditch. I messaged about it and was told to open the window in the outer room because the bathroom was enclosed. But the shower was deep inside, so that didn't fix anything and the smell spread through the whole room. I've never had that problem in other Japanese hotels, even though their bathrooms are enclosed too. Housekeeping were extremely rude. They knocked at 9:59, stood there watching me and practically shooed me out. The room also wasn't very clean, and I started getting allergies as soon as I went in. Outside sounds and passing cars were very noticeable, too.

The interior was great, and the seller's photos matched the actual place exactly. It was very clean, with all the amenities complete, and close to the subway. This was my first stay in Japan, this March. If I get to Osaka again, I'll definitely stay here another time! 😉
