Feel Osaka Yu - Hostel

Kaz, Kaz Senior, and Yoko were some of the kindest, most thoughtful people I’ve met. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and my stay ended up lasting a month because I didn’t want to leave 😅. The capsules are roomy and well cared for, and the private rooms are lovely too. The lounge has a musician’s dream collection of high-end instruments to play, and there are plenty of people to jam with if you’re a musician. They also have jam sessions every Saturday. I had a wonderful experience here and highly recommend Feel Osaka Yu.

They really care about people, beyond just providing great service :) I got sick unexpectedly during my visit and couldn’t have arranged a doctor’s appointment myself as a foreigner. When I asked, they booked one for me and made sure I had a comfortable place to rest while I recovered. Stay here next time you’re in Osaka and Kaz will look after you :)

When I booked a last-minute trip to Osaka, I needed somewhere quick to stay. The security, hospitality, and cleanliness were top-notch. They were also very accommodating both times I asked to extend my stay, which should tell you something. I’d seen reviews criticizing the rules, but I found them reasonable and reassuring, since security matters to me when I travel. The bathrooms were spacious and extremely clean, the laundry was convenient, and the dorms were very comfortable. For the price and location, the quality was fantastic. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in Japan.

Kaz was welcoming and super friendly, and his communication before and during my stay was fantastic. He spoke perfect English, enjoyed chatting, and had great recommendations. The hostel was easy to find, with inviting common areas and clean facilities. I liked the smooth jazz in the lounge and the relaxing piano near the showers. The bunk bed capsules were comfortable, and the provided earplugs helped me sleep well. I highly recommend Feel Osaka Yu, 10/10 would stay again!
