FP HOTELS Grand South-Namba

The hotel feels roomy, with beds we liked and a spacious, comfortable lobby. Breakfast was good, though the serving hours were limited and ended too early. The location is so-so, but it’s close to the train station. For such a huge hotel, they should add laundry machines to meet demand. A nice surprise was the free phone we could take out with us.

The coffee machine in the lounge makes delicious coffee, and the staff are friendly and highly professional. This brand new hotel has all the modern amenities, even a warm toilet seat, haha. It’s excellent value for the area, with the train station to the airport literally across the street. There are also lots of restaurants and Tsutenkaku tower just a short walk away, and that area is really cool. I’d definitely stay again if I return to Osaka.

Right next to the JR train station, so getting around is very convenient. It’s an excellent budget friendly hotel, with a basic but clean room. The staff were accommodating and ready to help. Try the breakfast buffet at least once. Just be aware you may hear the trains passing.

The room is small, but that’s understandable, and it was clean. The lounge on the second floor is often dirty because of other guests. Hot water comes quickly and works great, and the toilet seat is always impressive in a Japan hotel. The location is very convenient.
