The front desk and cleaning staff were positive and helpful, and made my first few days in your country very pleasant. The hotel is steps from the JR train, with restaurants and convenience stores close by. It’s a five-minute walk to the river, where the city looks amazing at night. I didn’t see another foreigner in the neighborhood, which was exactly the authentic experience I wanted. After seeing how much other hotels in Japan cost, I’m still amazed by the value here. Thank you.

The staff were welcoming, breakfast was decent each day, and free coffee is available at reception around the clock to take back to your room. Rooms are compact but manageable. The location is excellent for trains: Tsukamoto station is 2-3 minutes away, one stop from Osaka station and two from Shin Osaka. That makes getting around very easy. There are several restaurants and C stores nearby, including KFCs and McDs. A very pleasant stay for this budget, highly recommended.
The staff were really nice and attentive, though the WiFi didn’t work well, perhaps because my room was at the end of the hallway. There was enough room to open my big suitcase and rearrange my things. The location is convenient, just one stop from Osaka station and a very short walk from the station, even with a large suitcase.
I enjoyed my stay despite the hotel’s shortcomings. The staff are kind and friendly, and it never felt too busy or suffocating. My room was a bit small, so a longer stay might feel cramped, but it was manageable. There’s a toilet with an older bidet system, plus a shower and tub. Breakfast is a buffet every morning for an extra charge, though the price is fair. The hotel is one subway stop from the major Osaka station, and being a little tucked away from the city bustle was nice. There’s no laundry machine at the hotel, or other amenities like a gym or spa. A coin laundry around the corner was efficient, with wash and dry taking 55 minutes in one machine. I’d recommend this place to people who are okay with its limitations.
The room felt small when my sister and I tried to fit both our suitcases in, but for the price this was a pretty good stay. The staff were friendly and greeted us whenever we came or went, and they lend out umbrellas on rainy days, which was cute. Of the two hotels and one Airbnb we stayed in together, this was the best and cheapest. You do need to take a train to get places, but being so close to Tsukamoto station meant the location wasn’t a problem for me.
