H2H Dotonbori

For the price, this is a roomy, clean place with a distinctly Japanese feel. It’s close to the subway and Dotonbori, and there’s a convenience store right across from it. The check-in was handled very kindly. I’d seen comments about noise, but during my three days on the first floor I didn’t have any problems.

The low price left me very satisfied, and I used the money I saved to buy more figures. The room was spacious for a place in Japan, so I could spread out my suitcase, and there was a table for four that worked well for packing lunches. It was quiet, and the two air conditioners kept us warm for three days. The subway stop serving the main areas is right in front, with Dotonbori and Denden Town close enough to walk to. Google Maps sent me to the wrong building next door at first, but the building photos helped me find it quickly. It’s behind the Munrak Theater, on the first floor of a gym. The accommodation was in good condition.

It’s a very clean, well-equipped place, and security is excellent. The kitchen has all the cookware, plus a microwave and oven. The bed is really soft, and the washing machine is great. If you need extra towels, you can wash them there. Hot water flows strongly, and both air conditioners and the heating work well. Dotonbori and Nipponbashi Station are nearby. Absolutely great, the best place to stay.

The area didn’t suit us; it felt dirty. We also thought it was unacceptable that laundry was left out in the hallway, open to bugs and other things. The room had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable despite being very soft. The windows weren’t very clean, but a quick wipe fixed that.
