Hotel Continent-Vijoux - Adult Only

The shower door was so heavy that I hurt my fingers in it. Both were badly crushed and dented, and one had a crack. I'm a woman, and even a man would need both hands to open that door. When I told the staff, all they said was that the shower door was made to be heavy. They didn't handle it well. I really think they should fix it before anyone else gets hurt.

It's only a 3-4 minute walk from Namba Walk Exit B4, and there are entrances at both the front and back. Near one of them, stairs go down to the basement, with a popular izakaya just beyond. For some reason, it's got a good reputation. The rooms are roomy and don't smell of cigarettes, though watch out for steps. Some rooms have windows in the bathroom, and you place orders face-to-face, which wasn't much of an issue. On your next visit, show your temporary membership card at the front desk. After enough visits within a set period, you'll become a member.

More comfortable than the hotels nearby.

For its location, I thought it was good value.
