Hotel K6 Osaka Namba

We spent 10 nights here, and the staff were helpful and accommodating the whole time. The location worked really well: a short walk to the nearest station, a long shopping street, and several convenience stores. A couple of restaurants across the road made it easy to get a decent quick meal, and the nearby river was peaceful with a lovely view. My kids loved the cosy play corner in the lounge, where they could play while adults enjoyed the free food and drinks. There were lots of complimentary extras, including liquor, sake, wine, afternoon tea snacks, breakfast, and late-night ramen. They also provide the personal toiletries you might need, even pyjamas, so you mostly just need to bring clothes. There were several shampoos and body washes to choose from, including options for kids. We were very pleased with the service and had a memorable stay.

We wish we'd booked more nights in Osaka here. We’d spent most of our four weeks in Japan at Mimaru hotels, which are amazing, and this place was absolutely perfect. The Balinese style was lovely, and it’s handy for the lively Dontonbori shopping district. There are great restaurants right outside, including the Gyoza restaurant across the road with the big lanterns, which I highly recommend. Our room was on the small side, but two adults and two young teens managed fine. The free extras were next level: breakfast each morning, evening ramen, all the amenities you could want, and unlimited alcohol including spirits. Coffee and other hot drinks were free too, as were video games, which made a great babysitter 🤣. There was also a big range of rental items, even Apple watches and a Gaming Laptop, really! Staff spoke a good amount of English and were very helpful.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. There was so much included for free: breakfast, soft drinks, alcohol, ramen, English tea, popcorn, karaoke, video games, curling irons, blow dryer brushes, and a large flat-screen TV with Chromecast that we loved. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. The only drawback for me was the big step up into the bathroom and down into the bedroom. It might be fine for someone younger, but with my bad knee at 62, it was a little uncomfortable. Still, we'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel location is superb. I only added photos of my room entrance and the main street nearby. Amazing hotel with lots of free extras. Breakfast and the self-made ramen were good, and the room had everything I needed.
