HOTEL.LINKS Dobutsuen-mae

The location made it easy to get around, with the station close by and a FamilyMart right across the street. If I remember correctly, the hotel doesn't serve breakfast, so that shop came in handy. The staff were friendly, and the service was good. My bathroom was clean but very small, and the room itself was cramped enough that I had trouble opening my regular-sized suitcase. It may suit backpackers or people traveling light better. The lobby isn't large either, though having a prayer room is a plus. For the price, it's worth staying here in Osaka.

The room was extremely cramped, even by Japanese business hotel standards. There's no washlet on the toilet. The shower controls don't work properly, so the water keeps switching between freezing cold and boiling hot.

Getting around was easy, with Dobutsuen Mae and Shin Imamiya stations right beside the hotel, and convenient connections for Osaka and Kansai Airport. Check-in and checkout were simple, and the daytime receptionist was friendly and lovely. My room was on the small, typical Japanese side, but that was fine for me. The price also seemed reasonable compared with the other hotels I looked at. I had a great stay and would recommend it.

There are several Family Mart and Lawson stores just across the street, and the subway is nearby, so the location is handy. The room, though, is quite small and leaves little to no room for extra luggage.
