The hotel is away from Osaka's main station, but still convenient, with shopping malls and places to eat nearby. My room was clean and had most of the usual amenities, though it was small, like many Japanese hotel rooms. I liked the eco-friendly approach. It's quiet apart from the train station right beside the building. If you're a light sleeper, be aware that you can hear trains chugging late at night and early in the morning.

The front desk staff were friendly, though not especially helpful. The train station, plenty of restaurants, and shopping are all conveniently close. Coming from America, I found the room awful: small but functional, with no space between the beds. The bathtub was high to step into, and there was no walk-in shower option, so you need good knees.

It’s only a few minutes’ walk from Osaka Station, with plenty nearby. I felt safer on the women-only floor, and appreciated the extra items for women, like hair clips or bands and a magazine. I liked the environmentally conscious cleaning options, where you can choose daily room cleaning, just fresh towels, or no service. One small thing: I wish choosing no cleaning still came with bottled water. As it is, I have to select the eco-cleaning option to get water, even when I don't need new towels.

I was on the 16th floor, where the AC couldn't be controlled. They brought floor fans, but one had a timer and shut itself off. Staff were very helpful at any hour.

There was no built-in air conditioning, just a small fan, and it wasn't enough to cool the room in summer.
