Hotel Oaks Early-Bird Osaka Morinomiya/ Vacation STAY 28708

The hotel is right beside a train track, so it seems handy for travelers or families with young kids. It’s also connected to a convenience store, where the food is yummy. The room was clean. The beds felt like they had bubble wrap inside, but they were fine.

Nearby, there’s a supermarket, a convenience store, and a few places to eat. The station is an easy walk away, and the staff provided good service. WiFi worked reliably. The building and facilities are old, but as usual with Japanese hotels, everything was well kept and clean. A twin room was very affordable at 6000 yen. Overall, a great stay.

The location made getting around easy: Morinomiya station is just a 2-3 minute walk, with both JR and Metro trains, and Osaka castle is right across the block. There are plenty of teisyoku, izakayam, fast food places, and convenience stores nearby. Staff were courteous and polite. The room was comfortable for the price, with a firm spring bed that was fine for a good night's sleep, though I prefer denser foam. The facilities aren't the newest, but they still feel modern. Room amenities were basic, with green tea bags but no coffee, instant or pods. I arrived an hour before check-in hoping to get in early, but had to wait until the stated time. That was disappointing, since many Japanese hotels allow early check-in when the room is ready.

A good choice for a small business trip.
