Hotel S-Presso Central - Vacation STAY 9448

The staff were amazing and attentive, and the room was comfortable and close to the main attractions without being noisy. My wife, our five-month-old, and I appreciated the bath salts after long days walking around Osaka. Breakfast was free and had fruit, bread, some fried items, drinks, and coffee. A few things kept this from five stars: every room has single beds, with no queen or king option. On some days the bathroom smelled like the sewers outside, and I had to fill the tub with water to flush the pipes until the smell went away. The aircon remote's cover kept falling off when I used it, and at 2 a.m. I had to look for it under the bed.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms felt exceptionally large compared with other places we've stayed. Parks Garden Central was within a 10-minute walk, and Dotonbori canal and the large market areas took about 15 minutes on foot. We found this gem after visiting Tokyo and Kyoto. The 10 a.m. checkout caught me out because I thought it was 11. Staff kept knocking, though that's not their fault. The worse problem was the blanket. It smelled bad enough that I switched it for one from another bed and left the smelly one on the floor. Housekeeping put it back on my bed while I was out. Please check the blankets and replace them if they're dirty or smell. Compared with the other hotels I've stayed in over the past two weeks, S-Presso was the least good for me.

Everyone on the team was warm and ready to help. We also found the rooms clean and the breakfast tasty. We really enjoyed staying here while in Osaka, thank you!
